Refund Policy

Refunds for Damaged Items Only

All prints and products from D.K.World‑Photography are made to order. For this reason, all sales are final.

Refunds are only issued if an item arrives damaged.

To request a refund for a damaged item, you must:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery

  • Provide clear photographs of the damage and the packaging

  • Keep all packaging until the claim is resolved

If the item is confirmed as damaged, you will receive either:

  • A replacement print, or

  • A refund, depending on availability and your preference

Refunds Are Not Issued For

We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind

  • Personal preference

  • Ordering the wrong size

  • “Not matching décor”

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Colour differences caused by screen brightness or device settings

This policy is fully compliant with UK consumer law for custom‑made artwork, which is exempt from standard change‑of‑mind returns.

Customer Responsibility

By placing an order with D.K.World‑Photography, the customer accepts responsibility for:

  • Checking all product details (size, orientation, format) before ordering

  • Providing a correct and complete delivery address

  • Ensuring the delivery location is safe and accessible

  • Inspecting the item immediately upon delivery

  • Reporting any damage within 48 hours

  • Retaining all packaging if submitting a damage claim

  • Understanding that colours may vary slightly due to screen settings

We cannot accept responsibility for:

  • Items damaged after delivery

  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • Failure to report damage within the required timeframe

  • Customer handling, mounting, or framing errors

  • Prints ordered in the wrong size or orientation

By completing checkout, the customer confirms they have read and agreed to this policy.

Professional Printing Standards

All prints from D.K.World‑Photography are produced through a professional photography printer, not a standard print lab. This ensures:

  • Archival‑grade papers

  • Museum‑quality inks

  • Accurate colour reproduction

  • Exceptional sharpness and detail

  • Consistent professional finish

  • Long‑lasting, fade‑resistant results

Because each print is produced to professional standards and made specifically to order, production times depend on the printer’s workload.

Delivery Policy

Production and Delivery Timeframe

All prints are made to order. Production and delivery can take up to 28 days. in rare circumstances delivery can take as long as 6 weeks.

Most orders arrive sooner, but customers must allow the full 28 - 42 day window before raising a delivery query.

Dispatch & Tracking

Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email. Tracking information is provided where available.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing a correct delivery address

  • Ensuring the delivery location is safe and accessible

  • Being available to receive the parcel or providing a safe place

  • Inspecting the item immediately upon delivery

  • Reporting damage within 48 hours

We cannot accept responsibility for:

  • Delays caused by the print provider

  • Delays caused by couriers

  • Parcels delivered to an incorrect address

  • Parcels left in a safe place at the customer’s request

Failed or Returned Deliveries

If a parcel is returned due to incorrect address details or repeated failed delivery attempts, the customer will be responsible for:

  • Re‑delivery costs

  • Any courier return fees

Lost Parcels

If a parcel is confirmed lost by the courier, a replacement will be issued at no additional cost.

Terms of Sale

By placing an order with D.K.World‑Photography, the customer agrees that:

  • All prints are made to order

  • Delivery can take up to 28 - 42 days

  • All sales are final, except in cases of damage on arrival

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun

  • Product images are for illustration; colours may vary due to screen settings

  • Sizes and product details must be checked before ordering

  • Refunds are only issued in accordance with our Refund Policy

These Terms of Sale comply with UK consumer law for custom‑made goods.

Liability Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, D.K.World‑Photography is not liable for:

  • Delays caused by the print provider, couriers, weather, strikes, or events outside our control

  • Damage caused by incorrect handling, framing, mounting, or storage

  • Damage occurring after delivery

  • Losses resulting from incorrect addresses provided by the customer

  • Colour variations caused by screen brightness or device settings

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss

Our responsibility is limited to:

  • Replacing or refunding items that arrive damaged, provided the customer follows the required steps

  • Producing and dispatching orders with reasonable care

By completing checkout, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to all policies.
